Role Responsibilities 

As a Systems Administration Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial systems and processes support the Organisation's management and statutory reporting requirements. As a member of the Systems Administration Team, you will be a logical thinker, self-motivated and a quick learner. You will have a positive attitude and willingness to contribute as a team member. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

daily monitoring and maintenance of the system/s;
plan and expand current functions offered by the system including reporting capabilities;
plan, test and support deployment of system enhancements and upgrades;
provide user training and create/update training materials; and
build and maintain positive relationships across business and support areas.

Key attributes

We invite applications from experienced candidates who can demonstrate the following: 

well-developed Finance or HR skills or demonstrated experience in systems management;
client service focused;
proven ability to adapt to change and learn quickly in a new environment; 
high degree of self-motivation, attention to detail, and the desire to excel;
logical mind with strong numerical skills and an aptitude for finance related tasks; and
demonstrated experience with Chris 21, Finance one or SAP, other HRMS platforms.

Other desirable attributes include:

formal finance qualifications and experience although relevant training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Employment conditions

Employment is under the ASIO Act 1979. Conditions of service are similar to those applying in the Australian Public Service. We recognise entitlements accrued under the Public Service Act 1999 and provide for continuation of superannuation under the Commonwealth schemes. Salary packaging arrangements are also available.
